AmInvestment Bank topped Bloomberg's Underwriter League Table on Malaysia Domestic Bonds with RM7.868 billion in proceeds arranged, capturing 31.1% of the market share with a total count of 46 deals from 1 January 2009 to 6 June 2009*. This translates into a 20.4% increase of market share from 10.7% as compared to position in 2008, where it was ranked fourth.

AmInvestment Bank also emerged top of the Malaysian Ringgit Islamic Bonds League Table for the first half of 2009 totaling RM6.970 billion worth of issuance with 34 total deals, recording a market share of 41.4%, which was a jump of 25.4% increase from third rank in year 2008*.

Meanwhile, AmInvestment Bank secured the first position as the top bookrunner of all Malaysian Ringgit bonds according to Thomson Reuters, in the July issue of International Financing Review Asia (IFR Asia) magazine. Malaysia's Domestic Ringgit Bonds issuance for the first half of 2009 registered a total amount of RM7,403.5 million, wherein AmInvestment Bank secured 35.1% of market share**.
