- The Funds Management Division’s Islamic funds management activities over the past two decades were formalised under a new entity called AmIslamic Funds Management Sdn Bhd. The license was obtained in January 2009 was to further focus and develop the business and make Malaysia our hub for Islamic funds management business across Asia and beyond.

- 2008 – First Islamic equity master-feeder fund that invests across Asia Pacific, domiciled in Malaysia under the purview of Malaysia International Islamic Financial Centre (MIFC) – AmNamaa’ Asia-Pacific Equity Growth and Namaa’ Asia-Pacific Equity Growth. Master fund is based in US Dollar and feeder fund is based in Ringgit.
- 2007 – First equity exchange traded fund in Malaysia – FBM30etf.
- 2005 – First exchange traded fund in Malaysia which was also the first fixed income exchange traded fund in South East Asia – Asian Bond Fund Malaysia.
- 2001 – Al-Syamil: a complete asset classes Islamic facility offering multiple unit trusts, a first in Malaysia.
- 2000 – Treasury Solution: a facility offering a suite of money market and bond funds for corporate treasury requirements, a first in Malaysia followed by the Islamic Treasury Solution.
- 1998 – AmCash Management, the first cash management trust fund in Malaysia.
- 1992 – AmIttikal is the first Islamic fund in Malaysia based on a total Islamic concept of Mudharabah fee.
- 1987 – Gilts fund, first and only government securities fund in Malaysia.
