This product is aimed to provide 100% value of the amount invested by the customer at maturity by virtue of the investment structure adopted by the Bank on a best effort basis.
In order to achieve this strategy, a portion of the investment will be invested into Negotiable Islamic Debt Certificate (NIDC) that provides a fixed maturity value which is equivalent to the full amount invested by the customer. The balance will be used on an investment strategy that tracks the performances of the underlyings to provide the potential payoff returns. Therefore, customers are encouraged to hold the investment until maturity in order for them to receive 100% value of the amount invested and any potential returns.
