Pay Anyone Within AmBank    

This AmOnline service allows you to transfer fund(s) among Savings Account(s) / Current Account(s) maintained with AmBank.

  • 1.I always transfer funds to my friend's AmBank Savings Account. How do I register the account in AmOnline?
    You can register your favorite account(s) within AmBank at “Register Account” function. Once registered, you will not be required to key in the account number for future fund transfer(s).
  • 2.How do I transfer funds to my registered third party account(s)?
    You can perform the fund transfer(s) at “My Registered” function for third party account(s) that has been registered.
  • 3.How about funds transfer between my personal accounts?
    You can transfer funds between your personal accounts at “My Accounts” function. Your personal account(s) which has not been linked into AmOnline will be considered as your third party account(s).
  • 4.I would like to transfer some money to a friend's Current Account but I do not want to register him as my registered third party account. How do I do that?
    You can perform the fund transfers at ad hoc basis at “Oneoff” function. It is not necessary to register the account(s) to perform any fund transfer(s).
  • 5.How will I know that my transaction(s) is successful?
    For immediate transactions, you will receive an online status of your transaction upon submitting your request. If you have scheduled your transaction to a later date, you can check the status of your instruction at the “Past” function (after effective date).
    Once the transaction is successful, it will be posted to your account immediately and will be reflected in your Account Balance. For repayments, the transactions will only be reflected in your Credit Card / Prepaid Card / Consumer Loans, Hire Purchase Account on the next day.
  • 6.Can I stop or modify my future dated transaction(s) that has been scheduled?
    Yes, you can stop your future dated (including recurring) transactions at “Pending” function. However, you will not be able to modify the fund transfer instruction. You must have to stop the previous instruction given and create a new fund transfer instruction.
  • 7.What happens if I have insufficient funds in my account(s) when a recurring transaction is due?
    The transaction will not be completed and you will be notified of the status at the welcome page when you login to AmOnline.
