  • 1.How do I access AmOnline?
    For AmBank ATM / Credit Card / Prepaid Card Holders, you would need to obtain the 6-digit Web PIN which can be created at any of our AmBank ATMs by using your ATM Card / Credit Card / Prepaid Card.

    The 6-digit Web PIN will be required for the “First Time Login” on AmOnline at https://ambank.amonline.com.my.

    For AmBank customers without an ATM Card, you would need to apply for a Virtual PIN by completing this form and send via registered mail to:

    The Virtual PIN will be sent to you within 2 weeks. Once received, please call AmBank’s Contact Centre to activate your Virtual PIN at (603) 2178 8888.

    For AmBank Hire Purchase / Consumer Loan Customers, you do not need to obtain the Web PIN or Virtual PIN to access AmOnline.

    You can access to AmOnline at https://ambank.amonline.com.my. Select “First Time Login” and you will then be presented with the “Terms and Conditions”. After you have accepted the “Terms and Conditions”, follow the instructions to complete the registration process.

    For subsequent logins, just enter your Login ID and Password. For security reasons, you must keep your Login ID and Password confidential.

  • 2.What if I have forgotten my Login ID or Password?
    You can call our Contact Centre to obtain your Login ID.

    If you have forgotten your password, click on the “Forget Password” function at AmOnline login page, fill in the necessary information required to obtain your password reminder.

    If you still cannot get any hints from your password reminder, click on the “Reset Password” function at AmOnline login page, fill in the necessary information required to reset your password.

  • 3.What if I have exceeded the number of login attempts?
    You can call our Contact Centre at (603) 2178 8888 for assistance. You are allowed 3 login attempts only.  
  • 4.What if I have not logged in for more than 3 months?
    If you have not logged in to AmOnline for more than 3 months, very likely you have been temporarily barred from accessing the service for security reasons.  However, now you are able to reactivate your AmOnline account in the comfort of your own home by simply following the step-by-step instructions via this link.

  • 5.Can anyone else access my account information through AmOnline?
    No one can access your account information through AmOnline without your Login ID and Password. We encourage you to keep both your Login ID and Password confidential at all times to prevent unauthorised use of your AmOnline account.
  • 6.Do I have to share my Login ID and Password for Joint Account?
    No, each account holder is allowed to create his or her own unique Login ID and Password. For security reasons, you must not disclose your password to anyone.
