1.What is TPIN? It is a 6-digit number generated by Contact Centre via Integrated Voice Response (IVR) 2.Can I link my Housing Loan or Auto Financing account to the profile? Yes, you can link your loan account(s) to the AmOnline profile. TPIN or Card PIN is not required for this request. 3.Can I use a NexG card with TPIN to perform First Time Registration? 4.If I have two NexG Cards, can I see both cards after successful registration? You can only view the NexG card that you used to perform First Time Registration. To link your second NexG card, you can use the same TPIN to link it. 5.If I have forgotten my TPIN, where can I get a new one? You will only need to call AmBank Contact Centre at 03 2177 8888 to recreate your TPIN. 6.I do not have a Credit Card PIN. How do I register my Mobile Phone Number for TAC request at ATM? Call AmBank Contact Centre for assistance and inquiry. 7.Will this TPIN replace PIN Mailer as the Card PIN? No. Customer would have a choice to use the TPIN or PIN Mailer for first time registration of AmOnline or AmGenie. 8.What are the advantages of AmOnline or AmGenie First Time Registration using TPIN? √ |
Credit card holders do not need to wait for the Card PIN (PIN Mailer) to be posted to them. They would only need to retrieve a TPIN generated via Contact Centre. |

All new and existing AmBank Credit Card Holders. 11.If I am an existing AmOnline user using my Credit Card and Card PIN to perform the First Time Registration, can I use the TPIN to reset my password? Yes, you can if your existing AmOnline profile does not have any deposits account or you do not have an ATM Card tied to that AmOnline profile. 12.If I have a deposit account only but am not an AmOnline user yet, can I use the TPIN to perform First Time Registration? No, you are not allowed to use TPIN to perform First Time Registration. 13.If I am an existing AmOnline user with a deposit account, can I use the TPIN to reset my password? No, the TPIN is no longer applicable once your AmOnline profile consists of deposit account(s). 14.If I have both a Credit Card and a deposit account, can I use the TPIN to perform FTSO? Yes, you can use the Credit Card number and TPIN to perform First Time Registration. However, you can only view your credit card details upon successful registration.
To view your deposit account, you are required to have an ATM Card with a Card PIN to link your deposit account.
