AmBank Group Continues its Flood Relief Initiatives as the Main Sponsor for Konsert Doa Langit dan Bumi

Continuing with its efforts to assist flood victims in affected areas in the country, the AmBank Group yesterday announced that it will be presenting, as Major Sponsor, a fundraising concert in collaboration with Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) and Rasamusic Sdn Bhd on Sunday, 22 February 2015 at Dewan Merdeka, PWTC, Kuala Lumpur featuring legends namely Datuk Ramli Sarip, Dato’ M Nasir, Dato’ Hattan, Awie, Ella and renowned musicians Man Kidal, Aji Samin, Tom Anuar, Fauzie Zain, Rozario Rasul, Uda, Paang Zaman and Boy Razli. The objective of the concert is to raise more funds for Malaysians who were affected by the recent floods in the states of Kelantan, Pahang, Terengganu, Perak and Perlis.
The Doa Langit and Bumi concert will be broadcast live on NTV7 from 2:30 p.m to 5:00 p.m on the same date of the concert.

Recently the AmBank Group Chairman, Tan Sri Azman Hashim has announced a commitment to contribute RM1 million to Kampung Pasir Era, Kuala Krai, half of which is his personal contribution and the balance from the Group. At the same time, Tan Sri Azman personally visited flood affected areas where he distributed food and essential items to 500 families in Kawasan Guchil Luar 7 and Kampung Pasir Era in Kuala Krai, Kelantan. Popular artistes Dato’ Ramli Sarip and Noh Salleh were also present to bring cheer to the residents in Kawasan Guchil Luar 7 and Kampung Pasir Era in Kuala Krai, Kelantan.’
• AmBank also made every effort possible to consider a moratorium of up to six months on affected customers’ monthly instalments/repayments and a one-off waiver relating to late payment/penalty charges. (For customers of AmBank upon request).
• For customers seeking for replacement of passbooks, cheque books, fixed deposit certificates, ATM, Credit and Debit cards, AmBank waived all incidental and replacement charges to help ease the burden where possible.
