AmBank Group collaborates with EMRAZ Travel & Tours to offer Umrah financing packages of up to RM250,000

Friday, 3 February 2023 - AmBank Group together with EMRAZ Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd (EMRAZ), an Umrah, Hajj and tourism agency in Malaysia, have embarked on a strategic partnership to launch a shariah-compliant financing package for the purpose of the Umrah pilgrimage, at a ceremony to unveil the product at Menara AmBank, Kuala Lumpur recently.

Meanwhile, EMRAZ Chief Executive Officer/Director Datuk Dr Haji Zulkarnain bin Endut welcomed AmBank Group's initiative to work together with licensed Umrah agents such as EMRAZ to offer a wholesome and beneficial financing package that will help expand the Umrah pilgrimage customer demographics.
“This specialised and customisable package aims to alleviate the increasing cost of Umrah packages, whilst opening more opportunities for our customers to perform Umrah with flexible financing options.”
The newly launched Umrah financing package is specially designed for customers across all sectors, ranging from government employees, to customers who are both self-employed and also employed salary earners.
To finance travel packages purchased through EMRAZ, new AmBank Credit Card-i customers will enjoy an attractive 0% management fee on their QuickCash Instalment plans for the first application of up to RM15,000. Thereafter, customers can apply for an AmBank Islamic Personal Financing offer of up to RM250,000 with flexible tenures up to 10 years.
