SCAM ALERT: Alleged Investment Scheme Purportedly Offered by AmInvestment Bank and AmFutures

It has come to our attention that certain individuals claiming to represent AmInvestment Bank Berhad (23742-V) and/or its subsidiary AmFutures Sdn Bhd (327752-V) (collectively, “AMIB”) (whether as agents/dealers/remisiers/brokers etc.) have misled members of the public into placing monies into AMIB accounts, with the promise of high and/or guaranteed returns from equities and/or derivatives related schemes (‘Purported Schemes’).
These individuals are not agents or employees of AMIB and nor are they authorised by AMIB to sell the Purported Schemes on its behalf.
Some of the individuals running the Purported Schemes may claim that the Purported Schemes offer guaranteed returns, whereas AMIB does not give any guarantee or otherwise to its customers in respect of potential returns to their investment in equities or derivatives due to the risks inherent in such forms of trading.
Please contact us at +603 2031 0102 to verify the identity of any person(s) claiming to represent AMIB before you invest any monies into the Purported Schemes allegedly run by AMIB. If you have been approached by anyone attempting to sell the Purported Schemes, kindly notify the authorities or lodge a police report immediately.
