Kelab AmBank Group Blood Donation Drive 2019 in Johor

Kelab AmBank Group (KAG) in collaboration with the National Blood Centre recently organised a Blood Donation Drive at the Capital City Entertainment Mall in Tampoi, Johor.
“This is the sports club’s first blood donation drive for the year 2019, as AmBank Group continues to play its part as a caring corporate organisation, by helping to raise awareness on the importance of donating blood. We aim to encourage more members of the public to come forward as blood donors and help the Johor Blood Bank,” said Syed Anuar Syed Ali, President, Kelab AmBank Group, who is also Executive Vice President, Group Corporate Communications and Marketing, AmBank Group.
Each donor was given a token of appreciation. Syed Anuar along with the other KAG committee members were present to meet and greet the donors during the campaign. Around 100 donors took part at the blood donation drive which was held from 10 am to 4 pm.
The AmBank Group together with KAG Group Sports Club continuously plays a CSR role by reaching out to the society at large, irrespective of race, creed or religion as we contribute to the sustainable development of the community within which we operate. This approach has been and will continue to be the mainstay in our approach to community care programmes. Projects such as this helps to meet our objective of playing an effective corporate role as a socially responsible corporate citizen.
