Conceptualised and delivered by SCORE, in partnership with AmBank, the Junior Coaching Session is a key initiative within this year’s championship – designed to ignite the spirit of sport in children and nurture the values that go beyond the court.

Held for children aged 8 to 12, this session is more than just an introduction to pickleball. It’s a space where kids can move, learn, connect – and most importantly, grow with confidence.

Led by certified coaches and infused with fun, hands-on drills, the session empowers kids to build not just new skills, but life-shaping experiences. It’s where teamwork replaces screen time, and resilience replaces restlessness.

Every child walks away not just with a towel, a cap, and "Aman" the camel key ring – but with the pride of trying something new, and the spark of belonging to something bigger.

This is where we begin shaping tomorrow’s leaders – not through pressure, but through play, purpose, and positive action.

At this year’s AmBank Malaysia Pickleball Championship, we’re building more than a tournament.
We’re creating an experience with intention — where every detail reflects care, progress, and the kind of future we want to shape together.

Every small action adds up to something meaningful:
From how players arrive, to what they refill, to what they choose to recycle.

This is Malaysia’s first pickleball championship shaped by ESG values — thoughtfully designed to support youth, sustainability, and community.
A space where sport becomes a platform for impact.

Participants are encouraged to bring used sneakers and drop them at on-site collection bins as part of our green initiative.
Each contribution will be rewarded with a small token — a step toward reducing waste and supporting conscious living.

No booths. No frills. Just a clear call to action:
Give your sneakers a second life.

While sneaker upcycling takes time and volume, participants are invited to see where their contribution fits into a larger journey — one that may eventually help build community running tracks or court surfaces.
It’s not instant, but it’s meaningful, turning sport itself into part of the solution.

We also encourage everyone to bring their own water bottles and refill throughout the day, reducing single-use plastics, one bottle at a time.

To support greener ways of getting to the venue, we’ve introduced a shuttle service using electric vehicles, with a pickup point at Glenmarie and Utropolis.
And for those driving, we encourage carpooling as another small but impactful step.
