Experience:	Soo Kim Wai joined Amcorp Group Berhad in 1989 as Senior Manager, Finance, and has since held various positions before he was promoted to his current appointment. Prior to that, he was with Plantation Agencies Sdn Bhd from 1985 to 1989, and in the accounting profession with Deloitte KassimChan from 1980 to 1985. He was the Group Managing Director of Amcorp Group Berhad and a Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Amcorp Global Limited, a subsidiary of Amcorp Group Berhad, listed on the mainboard of the Singapore Stock Exchange. He was the Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman of AmREIT Managers Sdn Bhd, the Manager of AmFirst Real Estate Investment Trust. He was also the Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman of AmREIT Holdings Sdn Bhd. He retired as a Non-Independent Non- Executive Director of RCE Capital Berhad in September 2025.
