Responsibilities
Leads the Group's integrated branding, marketing and communications strategy, overseeing, amongst others, brand management, strategic communications, digital marketing, corporate events, sponsorships and crisis communications.
Oversees the Group's corporate social responsibility agenda through AmGroup Foundation ("Yayasan AmGroup"), delivering high impact initiatives and NGO collaboration. He serves as Co-Chair of the AmBank - Universiti Malaya Financial Chair, fostering industry academia collaboration, research and talent development with the Faculty of Business and Economics, Universiti Malaya.
Serves as President of Kelab AmBank Group, driving employee engagement, sports, recreational, wellness and community initiatives that strengthen unity and organisational culture amongst 8,000 KAG members.
Experience
A communications and marketing professional with over 28 years of experience across the banking, information technology, multimedia and newspaper publishing industries, he brings a broad and versatile perspective to strategic communications. He is experienced in developing and executing high impact brand campaigns that support business growth and strengthen corporate reputation.
Recognised for delivering large scale integrated marketing campaigns, strategic positioning and purpose driven initiatives, including high impact Corporate Social Responsibility ("CSR") and stakeholder engagement programmes.
