Any engagements with the media must adhere to the guidelines set by Group Corporate Communications & Marketing (GCCM):
Only the Chairman and the Group CEO may speak to the media
Employees are not authorised to engage with the media without the prior approval of the Chairman, Group CEO or GCCM
CEOs or Line-of-Business (LOB) Heads may speak on matters related to their area of specialisation when approached or asked by the media
Do not share commercially sensitive, anti-competitive or confidential information
Social media usage
While AmBank Group does not interfere with employees’ personal use of social media outside office hours, employees are expected to exercise sound judgement in posting information about the Group:
Do not post information about the Group, its employees, customers or vendors that is not publicly available, or that may be inappropriate, harmful or misleading
Do not create your own content about the Group without GCCM’s prior approval
Do not collect personal information from the public on behalf of the Group using your own social media
Do not vent, hurl abusive language or invoke sarcasm on your superior or co-workers no matter how discreet you claim it to be in your personal social media space as it will directly or indirectly impact AmBank Group’s reputation as an employer offering a fair and respectful work environment
Report any inappropriate or unlawful content about AmBank Group to GCCM

Group branding
We must not use AmBank Group’s name, logo, trademarks, letterheads or collaterals for non-work purposes without the prior approval from GCCM.
